Moses said,
“Man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.” Deuteronomy 8:3, NASB
When Moses spoke these words, he was teaching the people about manna — the commanded bread that fell from heaven every morning to feed God’s people in the wilderness.
